  • Definitely check out the Book of Kells display if you get here. The artwork on the book's old pages is moving.
  • Get here as early as possible to avoid crowds. The library can really fill up with tourists.
  • I thought Brian Boru's Harp was cooler than the Book of Kells. It's one of the three oldest Gaelic harps in the world.

  • It only took us about an hour to go through the Austrian National Library.
  • The Court Library was officially built between 1723 and 1735..
  • The Hofburg Palace once housed emperors and kings.

  • Books and labels from the library's opening in the 1700s are still on the shelves!
  • Construction on the libary started back in the 1600s. Visiting today, you can feel its history.
  • Definitely a bucket-list destination for people who love old churches and libraries.

  • Absolutely stunning from corner to corner, floor to ceiling.
  • Breathtaking.
  • There is so much rich history within these walls. I could live in this library and be content forever.

  • As a Brazilian, it was fun to see this place in person.

  • It's so beautiful in the inside that it looks like it should be a government building.
  • Plenty of lighting in the library, not as dark as many smaller libraries.
  • The librarian I spoke too wasn't that friendly, but she might have been having a bad day.

  • At first, it feels as if visitors are walking into a huge church.
  • The architecture is unusual and fascinating, with an outer structure made of marble and inner structure made of glass.
  • The center of the building is six stories of rare books encased in glass.

  • Absolutely beautiful! All book worms should visit this beautiful library!
  • Gorgeous painted ceiling, the smell of old books, fine details - there is so much to love about this library.
  • Photos do not do this library justice. This could easily be one of my favorite places on earth.
